Due to overwhelming interest, we've decided to extend our STUDENT SALE into Oct!!


We’re happy to offer student discounts and special promotions with selected artists. To receive a student discount, please let us know that you are a student before your tattoo and bring valid student ID as proof.


Student discounts are not automatically applied to every appointment or promotion, so please make sure our staff knows you are a student when booking or discussing your tattoo. Discounts cannot always be applied after the service has been completed. Every tattoo is different, so not all custom designs, artists, or appointments will qualify for the same discount amount. Size, placement, complexity, design and artist may affect the final price and available discount.


Please confirm your discount and final quoted price with us ahead of time so you know exactly what applies to your tattoo.

Student Discounts & Tattoo Specials


Student Sale Days are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. 

  • SAVE 15% off tattoos with multiple tattoo artists. Just bring your valid student ID  (Dal, SMU, MSVU, NSCAD, NSCC, King's, Acadia, St FX, etc. to obtain the student pricing)


Bring a friend!

  • Book together, and each will save 20%. Notify your artist when booking that you are booking 2 people for the 20% off discount.


Offer applies to flash/pre-drawn designs;

  • ALL custom pieces are priced separately then flash and discounted based on design/time (ask your artist for a more accurate estimate before booking). Some larger custom pieces will only be eligible for 15% off, not 20%, due to the time that went into the design.


Discount does not stack with other promotions. One use per client per visit.

First Tattoo? Here's What to Know

  • ID & age policy: Must be 18+ with government ID  
  • Deposit: $20 and up, depending on the time booked off. It goes toward the final price; non-refundable
  • Licensing: Sin on Skin Tattoo is licensed under Nova Scotia's body art regulations — sterile equipment, single-use needles, licensed artists ONLY
  • Aftercare: We will provide your ointment to care for and heal your new ink, as well as provide you with 24-7 support after your tattoo.

Frequently Asked 1st time Questions

Do I need to book ahead? 

Yes and No. When we have free time, we do walk-ins. Many clients tend to pre-book because they need specific dates or times, which affects our walk-in availability.

What if my design isn't on the flash sheet?

Once we know what you want, location and size, we can be more specific about the discount

Can I bring a friend to watch?

 Yes, of course you can!

Due to the excessive fees banks and credit card companies place on small businesses, we have decided in order to keep our fees/expenses to a minimum, we will stop accepting them at this time.


Do I need to do anything prior to getting a tattoo?

  • YES! Try to get a good night's sleep the night prior.
  • Eat a good breakfast or meal prior to the appointment.
  • No drinking the night before or the day of the appointment
  • Do NOT go to the gym before a tattoo appointment
