Tattoo pricing starts at $120 tax included, and go up from there.
Every tattoo is unique, and so is the price. There is no one-size-fits-all price for quality custom tattoo work. The final cost can depend on several factors, including the size and placement of the tattoo, the style and level of detail, the amount of time required, and the artist you choose. When you book your tattoo appointment, we will ask for a deposit to hold the time. That amount will be taken off your tattoo total on appointment day.
Body Location:
Can make a difference because some areas are more difficult or time-consuming to tattoo than others. Sometimes it's the skin in that area (thinner, more sensitive, tougher, or swells easier). Sometimes it's the location itself; it may be harder to get to or for the artist to sit as they normally would.
Size and Detail:
A small, simple design will require less time than a highly detailed piece, so cost and time are affected.
The Style of Tattoo:
Can affect pricing as well. Fine-line, realism, traditional, blackwork, cover-ups and other styles each require different techniques and amounts of time.
- Traditional is usually one of the faster styles due to the lack of detail.
- Fine-line can actually be quite time-consuming due to the speed at which you have to work to ensure perfectly sharp & crisp lines. You also don't have any room for error, so you have to be slow and extremely careful.
- Cover-Ups can be deceiving because you don't know how deep the ink is sitting in the skin. Was the 1st artist trained? Did they use proper inks/equipment to create your artwork? All of these things can change the time, which affects the cost.
- Realism is a more complex style that requires training. Due to the detail level involved, it can be one of the most time-consuming styles.
Color or Black & Grey:
Can also change the amount of work involved, depending on the design.

Price is the question we are asked most often and the one that is hardest to answer. A tattoo is priced by the time/equipment it takes rather than by a standard cost. If you're on a budget, let us know. We always try to find a way to ensure you can get what you want within a budget you can work with.
Studio minimum:
$120, tax included and up
Hourly rate:
1st hour is $230, then each additional hour is roughly $200, tax included per hour
Deposit Amount:
$20.00 and up, depending on the timeframe we're booking for you.

Two people can ask for the same design and end up with different totals, and it is almost always down to one of these.
- Size and placement. The same piece takes longer on ribs or a knee than on a forearm, because the skin behaves differently and we work slower.
- Skin. Dry, stretchy, scarred and previously tattooed skin each take ink differently.
- Whether it is a cover-up. Covering existing work needs a larger design and often more than one sitting.
A deposit holds your appointment and comes off the final price of the tattoo. It is not an extra fee. Deposits are not refundable and cannot be passed to another person. Missed appointments forfeit the deposit, so tell us as early as you can if you need to move a booking.
We take cash and e-transfer. We do not take debit or credit cards, which is how our prices have stayed where they are. There are multiple ATM's a few steps from the studio at Pizza Corner. Larger pieces are done over several sittings; we will only require payment for the current sitting, not for the entire piece. This can make budgeting for larger pieces much easier.

A consultation costs nothing and is the best way to get an estimate. Bring reference images, tell us roughly where on your body it is going, and we will give you an estimate of time and cost before you book.
Some work we will only quote once we have seen it in person, and some we can not provide a quote for at all.
- Cover-ups and reworks of another artist's tattoo- until we have seen the existing piece, color, exact size and placement. Even then, until we have an idea of what we're going to be covering it with, an estimate can be difficult. The depth they worked, the inks they used, even the techniques, can make it harder to do a cover-up, which will increase time/cost.
