How to Request a Tattoo Appointment
To help us understand your tattoo idea, provide an accurate estimate, and match you with the appropriate artist, please include the following information when contacting us:
- Tattoo design: A clear description of what you would like tattooed.
- Placement: Where on your body you would like the tattoo.
- Approximate size: Measurements in inches are preferred. Descriptions such as "palm-sized" are also helpful.
- Tattoo style: Black and grey, colour, realism, fine line, traditional, blackwork, lettering, geometric, or another preferred style.
- Reference images: Pictures showing the design, style, or details you're interested in.
- Preferred artist: Let us know if you have a particular Sin on Skin artist in mind.
- Availability: Include the days and times that generally work best for you.
- Budget: If you have a particular budget, you're welcome to share it with us.
Providing these details from the beginning allows us to respond more efficiently and helps avoid unnecessary back-and-forth messages. Please keep your initial request focused on the tattoo details. You're always welcome to share the personal significance of your tattoo during your consultation.
Our priority is creating a tattoo that looks beautiful when it's finished and continues to look great as it ages.

Custom Tattoo Designs & Reference Images
At Sin on Skin, we specialize in creating tattoos that reflect your individual style and vision.
We encourage clients to send reference images, including photographs, illustrations, and examples of existing tattoos.
When providing references, please explain what you like about each image. This might include the composition, shading, colour, subject matter, linework, or overall style. Reference images help guide the creative process, but our artists may recommend creating an original design rather than directly reproducing another artist's work. Personal artwork, meaningful handwriting, signatures, memorial designs, and other special requests can also be discussed during your consultation.
We welcome your ideas and appreciate giving our artists the creative flexibility needed to produce their best work.
Cover-Up Tattoos & Reworking Existing Tattoos
Have an older tattoo you'd like to change, improve, or cover?
Sin on Skin offers professional tattoo cover-ups, restorations, and reworking of existing tattoos.
Our head tattoo artist, Kyle LeBlanc, specializes in cover-up tattoos, helping clients transform unwanted or outdated artwork into something they can feel proud of.
If you're requesting a cover-up or rework, please include:
- Clear, recent photographs of the existing tattoo.
- Its approximate size and location.
- Your ideas for the new design.
- Any preferences regarding colour, black and grey, or style.
Cover-up possibilities depend on the existing tattoo's size, darkness, colour, placement, and condition. Some designs may require modifications, additional coverage, or a different approach to achieve the best result. Not every tattoo can be successfully covered with every design. An in-person consultation may be recommended to discuss realistic options.
Tattoo Pricing & Budgets
Tattoo prices vary depending on several factors, including:
- Tattoo size and placement.
- Design complexity and level of detail.
- Colour versus black and grey.
- Tattoo style and technique.
- Artist and estimated appointment time.
- Cover-up or reworking requirements.
If you have a budget in mind, please mention it when contacting us.
Our team can help explain what may be achievable within your budget and whether adjustments to the design or size might be appropriate. We believe in providing clear information about pricing before your appointment whenever possible.
Free consultations are available to discuss your tattoo ideas and pricing.
Walk-In Tattoos & Free Consultations
Not every tattoo requires an appointment!
Walk-ins are welcome at Sin on Skin Tattoo Studio, subject to artist availability.
Smaller tattoos, simple designs, lettering, and other projects may be suitable for walk-in appointments.
Larger custom pieces, detailed realism, extensive cover-ups, and more complex designs generally benefit from advance planning and a scheduled consultation.
Our team will be happy to discuss your ideas and help determine the best approach.
