We were surprised and honored to have been chosen as part of the this prestigious list of top tattoo studios in Canada.

After being selected we were contacted by the lovely Victoria Christie - Contributing Local Editor, for FLARE, and she was able to speak with some of the staff about the studio. She then sent us this link to the upcoming story 2018 Flare Top Tattoo Parlours Across Canada.

Nicole is an inspired Microblading artist based out of Toronto, trained and certified by Lash Forever Canada. Nicole comes from an Architectural background with a Bachelor of Environmental Design from OCAD University. Jumping into the beauty industry, Nicole realized how relevant her years of technical drawing and precision have become.

We were happy to help out Gary Fraser in his quest to find models for his upcoming Photopolis art showing.  Happy to say, the photos turned out really well and he captured each one in raw form. No Photoshop, no fixes, just raw photo's capturing a moment in time.

About Photopolis:
The Halifax Festival of Photography is a city wide celebration of photography that takes place in Halifax, Nova Scotia every three years. They are a volunteer run, non-profit, community based arts organization. They invite photo-based artists, curators, galleries and alternative exhibition spaces to showcase photography work anytime during the entire month of October. October 2017 was their latest festival.

Established in 1998, the Photopolis Society works collaboratively with photographers, photo-based artists and groups, from local to international and emerging to established, along with participating venues such as galleries, community organizations and coffee shops to present photography to the public for an entire month of enjoyment. Photopolis aims to feature a wide variety of photography during the festival including photojournalism, social and travel documentary, environmental, conceptual, formalism, staged photography and more. The Photopolis festival provides a unique opportunity to engage with different approaches photographers and photo-based artists take to explore and examine diverse realities, broadening our insights and perspectives.

A personal best for Sin on Skin!
Over 50,000 picture views on Google maps this year. If it wasn't for our amazing clients who allow us to bring their ideas to life, we would never have hit this! So thank you Halifax, Nova Scotia. Can't wait for another year of ink-credible tattoos and people!

Sin on Skin Tattoo Artists: Eldrick Murphy and Ryan Bradshaw, were both chosen in the NARCITY top 13 most unbelievable tattoo artists in Halifax that you must follow on Instagram!

We're sad to say Ryan had to return the his home in the UK in Sept, just missing out on receiving this honor before leaving. He wanted me to say thanks to NARCITY and the wonderful clients he meet while in Canada, that made this possible for him. He still has hopes of returning in the upcoming year to finish pieces that has was unable to as well as start on a few more. He loved it here and was as disappointed as we were that his time here had to be cut short.

Eldrick is still in Halifax at Sin on Skin and here to help you with your ink needs. Call, message or stop by so you can meet with him and discuss your ideas. Eldrick is a long running artist in Halifax and has an extensive client base from all over the world. One of his regulars travels all the way from the United Arab Emerites to get her ink done every year or two.
