Meet Kyle Leblanc and Nicole Nickerson, the power duo behind Sin on Skin Tattoo Studio for over 20 years.

Kyle grew up in the small town of Yarmouth, NS, and moved to Halifax at age 18 to pursue his passion. He apprenticed for seven years and went on to work at his mentor’s studio, Skintastic Tattoo, before opening Sin on Skin in 2003. Located in the upper unit of 5259 Blowers Street, this studio is the longest-running professional studio in Halifax.
Nicole, Kyle’s wife and business partner, has been there since the beginning. From client relations to marketing, bookkeeping, operations and beyond, she ensures the business runs smoothly. “With a background in retail management, it made sense for me to take on an office management role and leave the creative work to the talented artists who work here,” says Nicole.

Over the years, Kyle has dabbled in a variety of other artistic endeavours including stained glass art, illustrations, painting, special effects, sculpturing, etc. but has always come back to tattooing. Aside from Kyle, there are three other independent artists at the studio, all of whom are fully trained and experienced, accepting new clients, and offering free consultations.
